Should the Microwave be on it own circuit

Yes it should, because today it is a stationary appliance.

Typically it s only used for warming up instead of cooking, so it hasn t cause many problems, but if you cook in the microwave like I do then you try to have it on a circuit by itself or at least not on the same circuit as the refrigerator
